Tirana

Tirana is a strange place. Traffic is extremelly chaotic and every second building is Lavazho, i.e. car wash. The cheapest hotel (some fishy business with lightly dressed women downstairs was noticed) we found was 25 EUR a night, but lacking electricity and running water like the whole city itself. Street bars are full of electrical generators that enable fridges to cool expensive beers. However the city cordially welcomed George W. Bush, when he visited Albania in June. During the visit his watch got stolen. The video clip can be seen on YouTube.
