We forgot to mention that it's been HOT. We entered Macedonia in a haze, soon we found out it was fire smoke, all of Macedonia was on fire it seemed. I saw news about it in DN online, the fires were the biggest in years, especially in Bitola, exactly where we entered. All the forest was black or in flames.
