Soft boiled in Tbilisi

Tbilisi (= Hot water) was founded in AD 452 and named after the sulphurous hot springs in which you can still bathe today. And so we did. The baths bear a resemblance to a pleasant Ottoman hamam with an irreplaceable Soviet touch. The thermal water of 70 degrees smells of rotten eggs. When I finally forced myself in I could only think about two things: first of how did an unfortunate man feel when a merciless chieftain cooked him; and second how some parts of my body are slowly getting soft boiled.

Anna and Peter!

I have been reading your blog from the start, and after your last adventures I felt I had to write something to you.
What an amazing journey you seem to be on!

Everthing from drinking vodka in Georgia with - to say the least - a very shady guy and his family, to the wonderful montenegran mountains makes me here in boring old stockholm very, very jealous.

I hope many more funny, interesting, exciting and somewhat scary things happen to you in the future so that I can read about it here!

Mvh,
Jacob

From the ashes of Caucasus to the fire of the Sulphuric springs of Tbilisi... :-O

Poor you and you went there to relax... I bet you were totally exhausted after that bath and with its following torture session in that other picture where you are strapped to the table :-)

Seriously though. Nice to see that you afford yourselves some luxury. I am sure you need it :-)

Way to go! Vi har jättekul, men saknar dig enormt!

ananaspuckar! mandala! ekorrebajs! kylskåpsbrännare!

Denna bok har allt!

Alex tycker storyn är lite svag. Jens tycker att kvinnobilden borde nyanseras. Vad tycker du?
